Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

STROKE

Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation Hospital provides a stroke rehabilitation program at multiple levels of care for individuals who have had a stroke. Our experienced staff, stroke-specific treatments, and advanced technologies, cater to our patients’ rehabilitation and medical needs to maximize recovery in every way possible.

Our physician-led, interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, is medically supervised by a physiatrist who has expertise in the medical management and rehabilitation of people with a stroke. We will closely monitor each patients treatment and make any necessary adjustments and modifications as patients’ functional status improves.

The staff at LPRH promotes family involvement in rehabilitation. We teach the family how to assist with specific therapeutic activities so that family members develop skills to help during hospital treatment and after discharge. The hospital also offers services to help the patients and families members as they adjust and plan for the future. It is our hope to provide the highest quality stroke rehabilitation care available.
